International Conference "ICCAMS 2022" from 23 to 25 November 2022.

Welcome to PG & Research Department of Zoology,

“International Conference on Impact of Climate Change on Aquatic Life and Mitigation Measures for a Sustainable Blue Economy (ICCAMS 2022)” which will be held from November 23 to 25, 2022.

The aquatic ecosystem, be it marine or freshwater, is considered as a most critical component supporting life and livelihood world wide. Anthropogenic intervention and unsustainable practices have altered the function of the aquatic environment. Noticeable climatic changes like global warming, cyclones, increase in sea level, etc., are indications of impending disasters that will sound the death knell of many aquatic species. This biodiversity loss will eventually affect the livelihood and economic status of the stake holders. At this juncture, where drastic measures need to be taken in order to alleviate the situation, this conference seeks to garner ideas for mitigation and sustainable use of our existing resources.
